The competition was held in order to set up a new sign of quality for the Russian goods by choosing the best from numerous author designs.

Competitors were invited to submit a graphical solution of a new sign for labeling domestic goods, which represents a graphical basis for their quality confirmation. One of the main objectives of the competition was to stimulate the designer creative potential in order to solve problems in the field of public-promotion graphics.
